I wasn’t able to find the playlist for the original OST’s on youtube, but the Pokémon Company has released the offical soundtrack on Youtube . Seems one is able to find individual tracks that haven’t been removed due to copyright on youtube, so I’ll add some of those here.
Oreburgh Gate sounds vaugely eerie but also calm. The falling notes give a sense of spiraling into the darkness of the cave and the way the notes echo gives a sense of a vast mine.
Battle! (Rival) has a more playful vibe to compared to the regular trainer battle theme . This is very fitting for the rival in this game: Barry, which is quite impatient, something that the music reflects with its upbeat tone and relentless beat.
The champion is this game, Cynthia, is argueably the first significantly difficult champion battle in the Pokémon series and the theme really cements this Battle! (Champion) . It’s a shame you don’t get to fully hear this theme in game, as you’ll constantly be hearing the beeping sound of your Pokémon’s low health instead… This theme is a masterpiece, the way it starts slowly, brings in the marching drums and the synth that sounds like a gong in the background, brilliantly fits the climaxing battle of the game.
Sunyshore City is a simple joyful track, which make me imagine cruising up to the city at the shore. Here’s a jazz fusion arrangment I found of it by insaneintherainmusic .

Pokémon League (Day) is a soothing and nostalgic theme conveying the end of the journey.
When listening to Route 216 it’s almost like you can hear the heavy snowfall with the serene chime-like sounds.
The drum/bass synth used makes a sound very similar to the sound that walking through deep snow makes.
After a while the tracks picks up and becomes more upbeat.
